You may see a change in the color of the product over time. This is due to the Maritime Pine Complex, as well as the Vitamin C in the formula, and does not impact the efficacy of the product. To demonstrate stability over the 2-year shelf life, Matter of Fact conducted both accelerated stability testing at an elevated temperature, and real-time testing at room temperature; under both conditions, the concentration of Vitamin C was minimally affected. In order to ensure continued clinical efficacy over time, Matter of Fact ran an additional clinical study on formula that was 18+ months old (shown to still contain over 19.5% Vitamin C) that demonstrated continued and significant improvements in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, skin discolorations, and skin firmness even near the end of the product’s shelf-life.
